Watching movies on television - swast and mast!

Gone are the days when television channels used to telecast movies released at least 3 years ago. I love the fact that the television channels now telecast 'almost' latest movies. In fact, some of the movies are telecast with a couple of months of their release! The hit movies take at least 6-8 months. May be piracy is the reason, but it really is a win-win situation for us.

What I miss though is watching evergreen movies on television. Somehow the new ones have won the movie slots and the anytime-watch movies like Golmaal (old), Chupke Chupke, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Guide and the likes have taken a backseat. Thanks to Set Max channel, at least they have these weeks dedicated to some stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna. Call me greedy, but I want the best of both worlds!
